Treat your nails to our professional gel, BIAB or acrylic removal service at S&T Beauty. Ideal if you’re taking a break from enhancements, switching nail systems, or preparing your nails for a fresh set or an IBX strengthening treatment.

This treatment focuses on carefully breaking down and removing existing product while maintaining the health and integrity of your natural nails. Nails are assessed before removal to ensure the most suitable and gentle method is used.

Gel polish, BIAB, builder gel, acrylic, and acrylgel are removed using professional techniques such as soaking, gentle hand filing, e-filing (electronic filing) or a combination, depending on the product. Product is never forcefully removed, helping to prevent damage, thinning, or peeling of the natural nail. The removal treatment is then finished with a nourishing oil to leave your natural nails smooth and hydrated.

Professional removal ensures that the natural nail remains as strong and healthy as possible. To help keep your natural nails in top condition, we recommend an IBX Repair & Strengthening Treatment following a polish removal. The repair part heals any surface damage and the strengthener soaks deeper into the nail plate helping harder in between the many nail layerts that make up the nail plate.

Treatments can be done when booking in for a new manicure (if nails appear weak or damaged) or a reapplication of gel, BIAB, or acrylic enhancements. It can be applied after removal and before any polish is applied.

To ensure the safety, quality, and longevity of your manicure, please review the following restrictions before booking:

Manicure treatments cannot be carried out on broken skin, open cuts, infections, or inflamed areas around the nails or hands.
Clients with fungal nail infections, nail disorders, or suspected nail diseases must seek medical advice before booking any nail treatment.
We are unable to perform manicure treatments on nails that are severely damaged, excessively thin, or compromised due to incorrect removal or over-processing.
Gel, BIAB, builder, acrylic, and acrylgel services require nails to be in a suitable condition. If the natural nail is too weak or damaged, your therapist may recommend an alternative treatment or a strengthening service such as IBX.
Manicures cannot be performed if there is evidence of allergic reactions to nail products, gels, acrylics, or adhesives unless previously assessed and confirmed safe.
Clients who are pregnant, undergoing medical treatment, or have medical conditions that may affect the nails or skin should inform their therapist prior to treatment.
We do not recommend nail enhancements for clients who habitually bite or pick their nails, as this can affect results and retention.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot apply products over existing enhancements from another salon unless booked with a full professional removal.
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or modify a treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable on the day of your appointment.
