• Leave it to us – Avoid excessive nail filing before your appointment.

• We’re here to help – Share any concerns about nail weakness or breakage with your technician.

• Avoid heavy exfoliation on the hands prior to your appointment.

• “Jewels not tools” as tempting as it is, don’t use your nails to pick or scrape, to prevent lifting, breakage or damage.

• Apply cuticle oil daily to add moisture and encourage flexibility.

• If using gel, BIAB or acrylics, schedule regular infills or reapplications every 2–4 weeks for best results and prevent nail breakages.

• Wear gloves when cleaning or using chemicals.

To ensure the safety, quality, and longevity of your manicure, please review the following restrictions before booking:

• Manicure treatments cannot be carried out on broken skin, open cuts, infections, or inflamed areas around the nails or hands.

• Clients with fungal nail infections, nail disorders, or suspected nail diseases must seek medical advice before booking any nail treatment.

• We are unable to perform manicure treatments on nails that are severely damaged, excessively thin, or compromised due to incorrect removal or over-processing.

• Gel, BIAB, builder, acrylic, and acrylgel services require nails to be in a suitable condition. If the natural nail is too weak or damaged, your therapist may recommend an alternative treatment or a strengthening service such as IBX.

• Manicures cannot be performed if there is evidence of allergic reactions to nail products, gels, acrylics, or adhesives unless previously assessed and confirmed safe.

• Clients who are pregnant, undergoing medical treatment, or have medical conditions that may affect the nails or skin should inform their therapist prior to treatment.

• We do not recommend nail enhancements for clients who habitually bite or pick their nails, as this can affect results and retention.

• For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot apply products over existing enhancements from another salon unless booked with a full professional removal.

• The therapist reserves the right to refuse or modify a treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable on the day of your appointment.
