Ideal as a standalone treatment or as an add-on before gel, BIAB, or acrylic services, IBX helps improve nail condition over time with continued use.

Treat your nails to our professional IBX Repair & Strengthening treatment at S&T Beauty. This service focuses on repairing damage to the natural nail, strengthening weak areas, and improving overall nail integrity. It can be performed on natural nails or prior to the application of other nail products for added protection.

Unlike surface-level treatments, IBX works by penetrating into the upper layers of the natural nail, creating a supportive network that helps repair splits, ridges, and weakness. The treatment can be repeated regularly and is compatible with gel polish, BIAB, builder gel, and acrylic enhancements. Removal is not required, as IBX becomes part of the natural nail rather than sitting on top.

Using innovative technology, IBX is cured with heat and LED light to bond the treatment within the nail plate rather than forming a surface coating. This allows nails to grow stronger and healthier while remaining flexible and natural-looking.

How To Prepare

Arrive with bare nails or book a removal beforehand.
Leave it to us – Avoid excessive nail filing before your appointment.
Share any concerns about nail weakness or breakage with your technician. We may be able to suggest options.
Avoid applying oils or nail hardeners beforehand.
Inform your therapist about any previous nail trauma.

Aftercare & Longevity

“Jewels not tools” as tempting as it is, don’t use your nails to pick or scrape at things in daily life, DIY projects or cleaning duties, to prevent lifting or breakage.
Apply cuticle oil daily to add moisture and encourage flexibility and support nail restoration.
Book follow-up treatments for best strengthening results.
Avoid picking, peeling, or aggressive filing at home.

To ensure the safety, quality, and longevity of your manicure, please review the following restrictions before booking:

Not suitable for clients who are allergic to monomer (the liquid used in acrylics)
Manicure treatments cannot be carried out on broken skin, open cuts, infections, or inflamed areas around the nails or hands.
Clients with fungal nail infections, nail disorders, or suspected nail diseases must seek medical advice before booking any nail treatment.
We are unable to perform manicure treatments on nails that are severely damaged, excessively thin, or compromised due to incorrect removal or over-processing.
Gel, BIAB, builder, acrylic, and acrylgel services require nails to be in a suitable condition. If the natural nail is too weak or damaged, your therapist may recommend an alternative treatment or a strengthening service such as IBX.
Manicures cannot be performed if there is evidence of allergic reactions to nail products, gels, acrylics, or adhesives unless previously assessed and confirmed safe.
Clients who are pregnant, undergoing medical treatment, or have medical conditions that may affect the nails or skin should inform their therapist prior to treatment.
We do not recommend nail enhancements for clients who habitually bite or pick their nails, as this can affect results and retention.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot apply products over existing enhancements from another salon unless booked with a full professional removal.
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or modify a treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable on the day of your appointment.
